Alchemists, you will recall, are said to have toiled through their days attempting to turn lead into gold. Must have been frustrating. We lucky ones have it a lot easier. Thanks to the magicians at Alchemy Yarns, we now have the pleasure of making proverbial gold from basic fibers (but certainly not lead!) of wool, silk and angora. With great passion and dedication to pleasing the senses and soothing the soul they are all about the transformative moment. And transform the moment they do! Alchemy’s exquisite yarns are hand painted and steamed over an open fire at their studio/farm in Northern California. Then they are hung from bamboo rods dotted about the property where they are cooled and dried by breezes coming off the Pacific Ocean. Nice life! Oh yes, this yarn is extraordinary.
